2 July 2010: The full conference website is now live for Biodiversity: 2010 and beyond, the annual conference of the New Zealand Ecological Society. The conference will take place 22–25 November at the University of Otago in Dunedin and there will be an additional Student Day on Sunday 21 November. The conference theme recognises and celebrates 2010 as the United Nations' International Year of Biodiversity. We hope to see you there.
15 January 2010: Feathers to Fur is here! Issue 34(1) of the New Zealand Journal of Ecology is a double-length special issue reviewing the past 20-years of research on the ecological transformation of Aotearoa/New Zealand. This special issue updates the 1989 Moas Mammals and Climate special issue (NZJ Ecol 12 supplement). It is based on full-day symposium of invited talks at the 2007 annual conference of the New Zealand Ecological Society (the audio from all talks on this first day are also available as podcasts).
1 January 2010: A new website is coming. There have been few changes to the NZES website in many months (other than to the New Zealand Journal of Ecology) because the society has hired a company to thoroughly update and refresh our website. Look forward to more content and much more elegance. Thanks for your patience.
